Interesting new series about bear shifters lead by Levy Blackthorn, ex- Navy Seal. When shifters went in the open it was very hard and dangerous for them. Levy had horrible experiences that affected his life and made him fear a relationship with a human woman. Now, he was lonely yearning for a mate and cubs but fearing to be rejected again. But enough was enough and when one of his crew members talked about his mating project, Levy decided to try it. Juliet Hernandez was feeling down, her self- esteem had been damage and she was feeling trapped in a situation that had not future. When she knew about a new shifter mating site in the Web, she decided to try because it seemed the human males were not interested in a girl like her. This two characters touched my heart. Both of them had had experiences that nearly destroyed their lives but they were trying to survive the circumstances they were living in. Levy was a natural leader, smart and concerned with his legacy. Juliet yearned to be loved, to be desired by a man who didn’t see her flaws and that made her feel good. The match worked and the author took the reader through the process where each one, Levy and Juliet, accepted their destiny together. Loved the narrations and inner dialogs that both characters had. The story was good written, very interesting with hot sex, romance and suspense. We could have a preview of other characters and their situations that I hope the author give us their stories in the next books because after reading and enjoying this book I’m intrigue.Product details

Levi is the Alpha bear at Fate Mountain. He and his ex Navy Seal team live and work there and serve as the Search and Rescue Team to those who climb and hike the mountain. Levi owns the Fate Mountain Lodge and several of the members work for him directly and indirectly. One of the team has started a shifter website and when Levi puts up his profile, he is match 100% to a human, Juliet, a graphic designer. She disenchanted with her job. Her ex boyfriend and a mental abuser has been made her boss and is making her life an agony.
She travels to Fate mountain to meet Levi. The minute he sets eyes on her Levi knows this is his one and only. Levi's urge to mate her is immediate and strong, but she is human and he is a grizzly bear shifter. These things take time with a human, don't they????
Juliet and Levi traverse the road to love one step at a time but it is excelerate time by human standards. Will this work? Will they be able to overcome all the things that stand in their way. Read and see
This is the first in the series, and is based on web site dedicated to shifters to find their fated mate. Shifters are known to the world and have recently been drafted to fight our wars. After the war, they were given equal rights and most shifters have moved into communities away from the large cities. Fate Mountain is the scene for this series, and the shifters that live there. Chief Bear is the Alpha of his clan Rescue Bears. Juliet is a graphic designer with a horrible ex-boyfriend. I enjoyed this story and Levi was easy to love. I got into the series when I realized that the couples don't really have a choice and how they work together to their relationship work out.
This is a great start to a sexy shifter series. Levi is a bear shifter whose been persecuted for being a shifter, then revealed for the same thing after serving as a SEAL in the last war. His buddy has made a computer algorithm that is supposed to pair up shifters and their perfect match. Juliet is a graphic artist who got out of a horrible personal relationship, just to have the creep follow her to her work and become her boss, she'said not sure she's ready for a relationship, but gets on the Mate.com site and finds herself matched 100% with Levi. Juliet is the made of honor in her friends wedding, that just so happens to be taking place at Levi's Fates Mountain Resort, so they are forced into a meeting before either is truly ready. One thing Levi knows just from her scent is that Juliet is his Fated Mate, now to get through all the prejudice, lost wedding party members and temperamental chefs to get her to agree. This is a 5 ☆ , full blown sexy shifter read. Scarlet Grove has given us the best beginning to a new series that I have read in awhile.
This is the first book in this series and what magnificent story to start this fantastic series. I must say that Bear Shifters are my favorite shifters to read. The characters in this story are praise worthy plus they are easy to enjoy and appreciate. I enjoy Scarlett Grove writing style she is a author that is on my short list for my one click. This story features Ivey and Juliet. Ivey is a fantastic leader of the Rescue Bears squad plus he is ready to fine his fated mate and settle down. Juliet is a graphic artist and she is being bullied at her job by her ex- boyfriend. She is also lonely so sign up on mate.com and find her shifter mate. I have enjoyed these two characters along with the story that's full of drama, romance and action. I highly recommend this book it's so beautifully written.

He became her boss, she went over his head and they said get over it and she was lucky to have her job. Her friend was getting married and her friend set up for them to go to Fate Mountain, she also did the app on mate.com and was told her match was Levi Blackthorn who owned the lodge where they were going. He was also the alpha of the bear clan and leader of the search-and-rescue crew of the rescue bears. They were fellow ex-Navy seals and he was leader there. They hey found out about her com i my up there and was wondering and worrying about that but when they saw each other they were attracted to each other and he told her she was his fated mate
