I tried. I really did. This was painful, amateurish, disjointed and laughable. Even the sex scenes, while wordy, lacked a true love connection. It felt almost dirty. Too much "hood" for my taste. While I could appreciate the heroine's life circumstances, I had a hard time identifying with her. There were moments that were cringe-worthy. The author has some potential but needs to practice her craft a bit more to put together a more cohesive read.

Loved this tale. It was about love and pain.but in the end love conquered all. 5 stars. It was the bomb and im a fan. This author knows erotic tales and definitely delivers.
Was a really good and love Aaliya and Demetri connection they had a great bond and the connection with her siblings..... but tht ending was kinda off kinda messed up the story for me
Great amount of drama, happy endings. I like the family reconnection, it made me want to see how it would turn out for them. Liked the main characters but they had an interesting connection, a bit on the dominant side but otherwise good. I would read more from this author.
More cussing than expected but a nice read. Lots of drama and life experiences. A strong woman doing what's best for her family. All the sacrifices she has to make due to protecting and raising her siblings
Lots of grammatical errors. No distinct scene changes. Timeline and character errors were very confusing. Good storyline. Found it a bit much that she would constantly punch her brother in his face. Some factual errors in a few areas . Finished it in one setting due to overall story, but not sure if I'd purchase this author again due to some the issues with book.
